By utilizing a controlled, state-of-the-art greenhouse in Lorena, the company emphasizes a growing process that monitors every plant from seed to harvest. BrightFarms Expands Local Lettuce Distribution to Dallas Kroger Stores
Shoppers in Dallas can now find pesticide-free greens grown less than 100 miles away, as BrightFarms brings its Lorena-produced lettuce to more than 1,000 Kroger locations. This expansion aims to cut transit times from days to hours, prioritizing local supply chains over traditional long-haul produce shipping from California.

This move strengthens the company's existing footprint alongside its current retail presence at H-E-B and Walmart. As a certified participant in the GO TEXAN program, the brand positions itself as a local alternative within the massive Dallas grocery market. With the ability to deliver product in hours rather than days, the company is leveraging its regional infrastructure to provide consistent, year-round access to leafy greens for the Texas market.
