The Gothenburg-based firm is consolidating its technical oversight under Chief Technology Officer Bernt Erik Westre. By folding operations development—specifically the methods and tools for kite maintenance—into the product development cycle, the company aims to refine its sales offering and ensure that service efficiency remains baked into the hardware design.
Existing tidal energy production sites, including the Vestmanna project in the Faroe Islands, will now function as dedicated hubs for development and training. This transition moves the company away from centralized internal management toward a project-based approach, allowing for greater use of local contractors and specialized external teams. According to CEO Martin Edlund, this architecture improves the total customer package by streamlining spare-parts logistics and site-specific maintenance protocols.
