Shipping intelligence provider Sifted has launched a dedicated connector for Anthropic’s Claude, allowing logistics teams to query complex parcel data directly within the AI workspace. The integration removes manual configuration steps, enabling users to generate cost insights and carrier performance comparisons without leaving their primary interface.
CEO Shawn McCarrick describes the move as a transition toward agentic software, where business data is accessible through a unified interface rather than siloed applications. The tool processes invoices, service metrics, and carrier fees to provide specific recommendations, such as modeling the cost impact of switching shipping services or identifying anomalies in monthly expenditure. Finance and operations teams can now request custom visualizations or diagnostic reports on shipping spend, effectively utilizing the AI as an on-demand logistics analyst.
