Denmark will become the epicenter of the global quantum community on September 9-10, 2026, as the Q2B Copenhagen Conference arrives at Øksnehallen. Organized by QC Ware alongside a Danish consortium, the event aims to bridge the gap between laboratory breakthroughs and commercial application across sectors like pharmaceuticals and AI.

The conference marks a strategic push to solidify Denmark’s position as a premier European quantum hub. By uniting government entities, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with private stakeholders like the Novo Nordisk Foundation and Novo Holdings, the event focuses on accelerating the practical adoption of quantum computing, sensing, and security technologies. Susanne Hyldelund, State Secretary for Trade and Investments, emphasized that the summit is designed to foster the international partnerships necessary to scale these complex technologies from research to industry-wide implementation.

Attendees can expect a deep dive into the technical and commercial landscape, featuring insights from Microsoft, AstraZeneca, and Fujitsu. The agenda spans the full spectrum of the ecosystem, from a startup pitch competition hosted by the BioInnovation Institute to high-level discussions on quantum venture capital moderated by Needham & Company. QC Ware CEO Matt Johnson noted that the event serves as a platform to demonstrate how the Nordic region is driving the global race, moving beyond theoretical physics toward tangible business outcomes in materials discovery and machine learning.
