Each facility will span 45,000 square feet, offering private patient rooms alongside therapeutic courtyards and gyms designed for intensive one-on-one recovery. The hospitals target patients managing complex conditions, including strokes, brain injuries, and spinal trauma. ClearSky Health Expands Rehabilitation Network to Arizona and South Carolina
Two new 36-bed medical rehabilitation hospitals are slated for construction in Casa Grande, Arizona, and Seneca, South Carolina, marking a strategic expansion for ClearSky Health. The move pushes the organization’s national footprint to 19 facilities, aimed at addressing the growing demand for specialized post-acute care across both regions.

CEO Michael Warrington emphasized that keeping patients near their support systems remains a priority for long-term recovery outcomes. The clinical model utilizes interdisciplinary teams—ranging from respiratory therapists to specialized nurses—to assist patients in regaining independence. This expansion follows internal data suggesting that dedicated rehabilitation hospitals often yield higher recovery success rates and fewer readmissions compared to traditional skilled nursing environments.
