Verisure Partners With Ting Labs to Target European Electrical Fires
With electrical faults triggering over 270,000 domestic blazes annually across the EU, security giant Verisure is moving to mitigate the threat. The company has secured an exclusive partnership with US-based Ting Labs to deploy advanced sensor technology capable of detecting arcing hazards before they ignite into property-damaging fires.
Under the agreement, Ting Labs will provide the core firmware and cloud intelligence, while Verisure manages the manufacturing, installation, and ongoing support for the European market. The devices will feature dual branding and are slated for commercial release in early 2027. This move follows Verisure’s aggressive technology investment strategy, which saw the firm commit approximately €170 million toward innovation in 2025 to bolster its security offerings and expand its subscriber base.
