After nearly two decades navigating the complexities of actuarial science and predictive modeling, Stephen Segroves is joining Corgi Insurance as Head of Pricing. His new mandate focuses on scaling the company’s trucking insurance program by deploying sophisticated rating models across its national business lines.
At Corgi, an AI-native carrier targeting high-growth firms, Segroves intends to bridge the gap between traditional insurance expertise and modern technological infrastructure. He views the integration of proprietary underwriting data as the primary lever for the company's expansion. "Corgi has an opportunity to bring together deep insurance expertise, data, and technology in a fundamentally different way," Segroves stated regarding his move to the Atlanta-based firm.
