The rollout of RealAssist AI marks a strategic pivot for Realtor.com+, which has expanded into 21 markets since its debut in January 2026. By automating client setup and synthesizing daily activity into actionable summaries, the technology allows agents to focus on high-intent interactions rather than manual data entry. The system provides three specific functions: automated client search configuration, a 'Daily Digest' that tracks price changes and chat activity, and an 'Agentic Actions' feature that drafts messages and refines search criteria based on MLS data.
Realtor.com Adds AI Layer to Automate Real Estate Workflows
With over 192,000 agents now utilizing its platform, Realtor.com is integrating a new AI-driven layer, RealAssist, to manage client communications and search parameters. The tool aims to shift the platform from a simple collaboration hub to a proactive digital partner that handles repetitive administrative tasks for busy real estate professionals.

Beyond AI, the platform is incorporating Realtors Property Resource (RPR) data, allowing agents to access market intelligence and property reports directly within their workflow. These updates arrive as the company continues to secure partnerships with regional organizations like the Austin-based Unlock MLS. According to Anna Marie Castiglioni, head of Realtor.com Next, the goal is to keep agents in the driver's seat while reducing the friction of administrative overhead. The platform now supports nearly 252,000 listings, positioning itself as a central workspace that bridges consumer search behavior with verified transaction data.
