The findings stem from two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies conducted by PLT Health Solutions. In an evaluation of 60 women with sensitive skin, researchers observed a significant reduction in transepidermal water loss and visible erythema over 90 days. These results suggest that the supplement reinforces barrier function, a claim supported by preclinical data regarding skin-reactivity signaling.
A separate study involving 40 women with dry skin utilized ultrasound and Cutometer measurements to assess structural changes. Data showed measurable improvements in dermal density, skin firmness, and overall hydration compared to a placebo. Jennifer L. Murphy, head of innovation and clinical science at PLT, noted that these instrumental methods provide objective evidence of structural matrix support, distinguishing the product within the beauty-from-within market.
