ClimatBloc Pitches Lightweight Composite Blocks in Kenya and Middle East

After presenting at Nairobi’s AmCham Business Summit 2026, ClimatBloc is accelerating its international push, targeting the East African housing market and the Arabian Peninsula with its signature lightweight, interlocking building system designed to bypass the logistical hurdles of traditional concrete construction.

The company’s executive team, led by CEO Jeremy Flynn, leveraged high-profile appearances at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence to demonstrate the utility of their composite blocks. By utilizing recycled materials and integrated insulation, the system aims to solve common regional bottlenecks, such as the reliance on heavy concrete trucks and lengthy curing times in remote locations. Each interlocking block weighs approximately 9 pounds, a design choice intended to simplify site logistics.

Following the Kenyan engagements, the team expanded its outreach to residential developers in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. These discussions identified a clear market appetite for alternatives to standard concrete masonry units. With the groundwork laid in both East Africa and the Gulf, ClimatBloc is now focused on converting these early-stage relationships into formal project partnerships to bolster its global footprint.
