Philadelphia-based Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is leaning into whimsical aesthetics this summer with the launch of its vibrant pink Mermaid Italian Ice. The new menu addition, which blends berry and marshmallow notes with edible glitter, will be available at locations nationwide from June 15 through July 19.
Beyond the new product rollout, the company is pushing its digital loyalty program, offering a complimentary small treat to new app users. Founded in 1984 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Rita’s currently operates more than 600 locations globally. The chain continues to produce its Italian ice fresh on-site daily, drawing from a rotating catalog of over 80 flavors alongside its core custard and blended drink menu.
