Younis arrives at the NACD with a background in public opinion and strategic communications, having previously held leadership roles at Gallup and the Brunswick Group. His new mandate focuses on shaping the organization’s thought leadership agenda, where he will oversee research and educational offerings designed to assist boards in navigating shifting stakeholder expectations. He noted that the current climate demands a higher level of credibility and judgment from directors than ever before.

Stevens brings over three decades of experience in human resources, most recently serving as chief human resources officer for the Federal Home Loan Banks Office of Finance. In her new role, she will oversee talent management, organizational effectiveness, and culture-building initiatives. NACD president and CEO Peter Gleason stated that the dual appointments are intended to sharpen the organization's ability to serve its more than 24,000 members as they face increasingly complex strategic challenges.
