The design addresses common durability issues found in standard temporary site markings, which often succumb to breakage or collapse under demanding conditions. By offering a sturdier, more noticeable alternative, the system aims to improve worker safety and operational convenience in factories and on active construction sites.
Nova Scotia Inventor Designs Enhanced Industrial Safety Barricade
A Georges River inventor has developed the Watson Barrier, a portable safety system designed to replace fragile plastic caution tape and flimsy cones in high-traffic industrial settings. The patent-pending device serves as a heavy-duty physical partition capable of displaying high-visibility warning signage for manufacturing and construction environments.

Technical drawings and a prototype are currently available for review. InventHelp, which is managing the submission, has listed the product for licensing or sale to interested manufacturers and marketers under the reference number TRO-1627.
