LiberNovo Launches Maxis Ergonomic Series for Big & Tall Users

Hong Kong furniture maker LiberNovo is moving beyond simple upscaling with its new Maxis series, a line of ergonomic chairs engineered specifically for larger frames. Starting at €829, the collection prioritizes structural integrity and targeted support to address the common mechanical failures found in standard office seating.

LiberNovo Launches Maxis Ergonomic Series for Big & Tall Users

The Maxis design addresses three recurring issues for larger users: insufficient thigh support, unstable reclining mechanisms, and premature foam fatigue. Featuring a 52 cm seat depth and multi-density foam, the chair maintains its form under heavy use while the neck support is repositioned to align with the spine rather than the head. The structure is BIFMA-certified to support up to 181 kg, anchored by a die-cast aluminum alloy base that provides a rigid foundation.

Mechanical stability remains a priority in the five-stage recline system, which allows users to transition between 105° and 160° without the swaying common in lighter-duty models. The series is available in three tiers: a manual version at €829, an electric model with powered lumbar and spinal stretch functions at €1,079, and an Airflow variant featuring active seat ventilation for €1,269. Alongside the Maxis debut, LiberNovo is expanding its Omni family with the manual Omni SE and the fully electric Omni Pro. Launch pricing for the new hardware remains active through July 31.
