K1 Speed Moves Birmingham Racing Hub to Irondale
The roar of electric motors has shifted to Irondale as K1 Speed officially relocates its Birmingham-area facility. Now positioned at The Hill at Grants Mill, the new venue sits less than nine miles from the renowned Barber Motorsports Park, marking a strategic move to capitalize on the region's deep-rooted racing culture.

Beyond the track, the center hosts an arcade with nearly 50 games and the Paddock Lounge, a full-service restaurant serving items like Nashville Chicken Sliders and Brisket Nachos. CEO and Co-Founder David Danglard noted that the proximity to Barber Motorsports Park allows local enthusiasts to transition seamlessly from the amateur track to professional-grade circuits. The company, which operates over 100 locations globally, maintains its focus on both casual arrive-and-drive visitors and private event hosting at this new Alabama destination.
