APsystems Expands Energy Storage Portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026

At Intersolar Europe 2026, APsystems is debuting a comprehensive energy storage ecosystem spanning DIY, residential, and commercial sectors. The company’s move signals an aggressive shift from its traditional microinverter roots toward integrated, AI-driven hardware capable of managing energy needs from balcony solar setups to multi-MWh industrial installations.

The showcase in Munich highlights a tiered product strategy. For urban consumers, the company introduced the Lake 6, a 6kWh AC-coupled system designed for balcony solar with a plug-and-play installation profile. Residential offerings now include the LSH-6 hybrid and LSA-6 AC-coupled inverters, providing homeowners with flexible, retrofit-ready tools for smart energy management.

Commercial and industrial applications remain a focal point of the expansion, led by the APstorage 241L liquid-cooled cabinet and the high-capacity 2000L series. These systems are engineered for scalability and grid-forming capabilities, incorporating advanced safety architectures. According to Olivier Jacques, President Global at APsystems, the strategy centers on providing practical, flexible hardware ready for immediate deployment across diverse global markets.

Beyond current market hardware, the company is leveraging in-house development in battery management and power conversion to fuel its AI-driven energy platforms. These systems allow users to optimize self-consumption and participate in virtual power plant operations. While APsystems continues to support off-grid requirements in emerging markets through its AHS series controllers, the primary focus in Munich remains on unified, intelligent integration for connected energy environments.
