Hexaware Commits £25 Million to UK Tech Expansion

A £25 million investment from Hexaware Technologies will bring 1,200 new jobs to Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham over the next five years. The expansion marks a significant push for the company within its fastest-growing global market. Hexaware plans to establish new research and development centers in Manchester and Leeds while simultaneously scaling its existing delivery operations in Birmingham. This move follows the 2025 opening of the firm’s UK headquarters in London’s Canary Wharf.

CEO R. Srikrishna stated the company intends to prioritize local talent incubation and collaboration with government entities to drive economic growth. According to Parameshwaran Iyer, Executive Vice President for the UK and Europe, the decision to embed research and delivery teams locally allows the firm to co-develop solutions directly with clients rather than operating as an external service provider. The commitment aligns with broader UK government goals regarding AI integration and public service modernization.
