Palmer Luckey and RealTruck Build Custom Military Truck for Charity

Palmer Luckey, the visionary behind Oculus and Anduril Industries, is collaborating with accessory leader RealTruck to debut a custom, military-inspired Chevy 1500 Silverado. The vehicle, crafted by Matt Hunt Muscle Cars, aims to generate significant funding for the Call of Duty Endowment through a high-profile charity auction.

The truck features a blend of rugged utility and modern engineering, including a 6-inch Superlift suspension, a RealTruck Traction recovery winch, and the company's proprietary Ascend Cap. Before heading to the auction block, the vehicle will be showcased at the NASCAR weekend series at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego from June 19–21.

Following its public debut, the Silverado will cross the auction block at Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural Columbus event, held at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds from June 25–27. Barrett-Jackson is waiving all consignment and sales commissions for the lot, ensuring that 100% of the final hammer price goes directly to the Call of Duty Endowment. Since its 2009 founding, the organization has placed over 169,000 veterans into high-quality civilian careers at a fraction of the cost of comparable federal programs. For Luckey, the project represents an intersection of American craftsmanship and a tangible commitment to supporting military personnel transition into the workforce.
