The Oslo-based company has seen a sharp uptick in interest throughout 2026, enrolling 28 patients so far this year—a figure that already exceeds the total recruitment count for all of 2025. This momentum follows the activation of four additional clinical sites this year, bringing the current network to ten hospitals across the United States, Spain, Norway, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Italy.
Oncoinvent hits 50% enrollment in ovarian cancer radiotherapy trial
Fifty-four patients have now joined Oncoinvent’s Phase 2 study of Radspherin, a targeted alpha-emitting therapy designed for ovarian cancer patients with peritoneal metastases. This milestone marks the halfway point for the trial, which aims to evaluate how the drug improves progression-free survival following surgical resection.

CEO Oystein Soug noted that the progress reflects the dedication of investigators and the growing confidence in the therapy's safety profile. The study, registered under NCT06504147, compares Radspherin against the standard of care—surgery combined with chemotherapy. Previous Phase 1 and 1/2a data, published in journals including Gynecologic Oncology, showed the treatment was well-tolerated at the 7MBq dose, providing a foundation for the current randomized trial.
