PitCrew Replaces AI Guesswork With Mathematical Compliance Checks

Financial services firms are moving past the early adoption of generative AI, shifting focus toward verifying agent decisions. PitCrew is addressing this challenge by integrating Amazon Bedrock’s Automated Reasoning into its platform, replacing probabilistic confidence scores with mathematical proofs to ensure regulatory compliance across back-office operations.

PitCrew Replaces AI Guesswork With Mathematical Compliance Checks

Instead of relying on large language models to estimate output accuracy, PitCrew translates complex business regulations into formal logic. This verification layer evaluates every agent decision against encoded rules, providing compliance teams with a definitive result and a transparent audit trail. The system is currently deployed across 10 production agents, utilizing 40 distinct Automated Reasoning policies to manage workflows ranging from client onboarding to marketing reviews.

The efficiency gains are notable: manual cross-referencing tasks that previously required two weeks of labor are now completed in 30 minutes, while individual Know Your Customer (KYC) form reviews have dropped from hours to minutes. Rishi Kulkarni, CEO of PitCrew, noted that while LLMs provide the necessary flexibility to understand business processes, Automated Reasoning offers the rigor required to prove output correctness in a heavily regulated industry. This development aligns with recent guidance from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which identified AI hallucinations and bias as primary risks that firms must actively manage through robust testing and monitoring.
